Description

  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil

For the Stir Fry:

  • 1 large yellow onion, sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon ginger, minced
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • Freshly ground black pepper to taste
  • Chopped green onions for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Marinate the Beef: In a medium bowl, combine sliced beef with soy sauce, oyster sauce, and cornstarch. Marinate for at least 15 minutes.
  2. Sear the Beef: Heat vegetable oil in a skillet, sear beef until browned but not fully cooked. Set aside.
  3. Stir Fry: Sauté onions, garlic, and ginger. Add beef, water, stir-fry until cooked through. Season with sesame oil and black pepper.
