- 2 lemon peels (approximately 2 inches each)
- 1 inch fresh ginger, sliced
Instructions
- Make Honey Ginger Simple Syrup: In a small saucepan, combine ½ cup honey, 1 cup water, 2 lemon peels, and 1 inch sliced fresh ginger. Bring the mixture to a gentle boil over medium heat, then reduce heat and let it simmer for 10 minutes to infuse the flavors. Remove from heat, strain to remove solids, and let the syrup cool completely before use.
- Prepare Cranberry Margarita: In a large pitcher, combine 4½ cups cranberry juice, 1 cup fresh lemon juice, 1½ cups tequila, ½ cup Cointreau, and ⅓ cup cooled honey ginger simple syrup. Stir well to mix all ingredients evenly. Add sliced lemon and ice to the pitcher. Serve the margarita over ice in individual glasses, garnished with additional lemon slices if desired.
