For the homemade sauce:

  • 1/3 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon ketchup
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • Pinch of salt and pepper

Instructions

  1. Prepare the shrimp patties: In a large bowl, mix together chopped shrimp, panko breadcrumbs, egg, green onions, mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Form into 4 patties and refrigerate for 15–20 minutes.
  2. Make the homemade sauce: Combine mayonnaise, ketchup, Dijon mustard, lemon juice, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
  3. Dredge and fry: Dredge each patty in flour, coat with panko breadcrumbs, and fry in hot oil until golden brown.
