Meatballs:
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 large egg
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
For Mummy Decoration:
- 1 sheet refrigerated crescent roll dough
- 1/4 cup ketchup or marinara sauce
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Candy eyes or small pieces of mozzarella and olives for eyes
Instructions
- Preheat the oven: Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Prepare the meatballs: In a large bowl, mix ground beef, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, egg, garlic, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Shape into 20 small meatballs.
- Cook the meatballs: Sear the meatballs in olive oil until browned. Place them on a baking sheet.
- Wrap in dough: Cut crescent dough into strips and wrap each meatball to resemble mummies.
- Bake: Bake for 10–12 minutes until golden.
- Add eyes: Place candy eyes or mozzarella and olive pieces as eyes on the mummies.
- Serve: Serve warm with ketchup or marinara sauce.

- Puff pastry or pizza dough can be used instead of crescent dough.
