Dry Ingredients

  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 tbsp dried onion flakes
  • 1 tsp mustard
  • ¼ tsp dried mustard
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • ¼ tsp salt (kosher salt or table salt)
  • 1 tbsp poppy seeds (optional)

Wet Ingredients

  • â…” cup white vinegar
  • 2 tbsp orange juice (frozen concentrate)
  • 1½ cups canola oil

  2. Blend the Mixture: Pour the mixture into a food processor or blender and blend for about one minute to start breaking down the ingredients and combine flavors thoroughly.

Notes

  • Canola oil provides a neutral flavor, but you can substitute with other mild oils if preferred.
  • Poppy seeds add texture and appearance but can be omitted if desired.
  • Store in the refrigerator and use within 1-2 weeks for best flavor and freshness.
  • Shake well before each use as natural separation may occur.
