Description

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika

Sauce:

  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch mixed with 2 tablespoons water (optional for thickening)

Garnish:

  • Chopped parsley and sesame seeds for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Chicken: Pat dry chicken breasts and season with salt, pepper, and paprika.
  2. Sear the Chicken: Heat olive oil in a skillet, sear chicken for 5–6 minutes on each side until cooked through. Set aside.
  3. Make the Sauce: In the same skillet, cook garlic, then add honey, soy sauce, and vinegar. Simmer for 2–3 minutes.
  4. Thicken the Sauce: Optionally stir in cornstarch slurry and cook until thickened.
  5. Combine: Return chicken to the skillet, spoon sauce over it, and heat through.
  6. Serve: Garnish with parsley and sesame seeds if desired.
