Carrots:

  • 1 pound carrots, peeled and cut into 1/4-inch thick rounds

Glaze:

  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon (optional)

Garnish:

  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Prepare Carrots: Place the sliced carrots in a medium saucepan and cover with water. Bring to a boil, then simmer for 6–8 minutes until tender. Drain and set aside.
  2. Make Glaze: In the same saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Stir in honey, brown sugar, salt, pepper, and cinnamon if using.
  3. Glaze Carrots: Add cooked carrots back into the pan. Cook for 4–5 minutes until glazed and glossy.
  4. Finish and Serve: Remove from heat, garnish with parsley, and serve warm.

  • You can use baby carrots instead of slicing whole carrots.
