For the Hot Honey Glaze:
- 1/3 cup hot honey
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
For Garnish:
- Chopped fresh parsley (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the Oven: Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and lightly grease a baking dish.
- Prepare the Glaze: In a small bowl, whisk together the hot honey, olive oil, Dijon mustard, apple cider vinegar, minced garlic, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Coat the Chicken: Place the chicken breasts in the baking dish and pour the hot honey mixture over them, ensuring each piece is evenly coated.
- Bake: Bake the chicken uncovered for 25–30 minutes until fully cooked and reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C). Baste the chicken with the sauce halfway through cooking for extra flavor.
- Rest and Serve: Remove from the oven and let the chicken rest for 5 minutes before serving. Garnish with chopped parsley if desired.
Notes
- To make your own hot honey, mix 1/3 cup honey with 1–2 teaspoons of hot sauce or red pepper flakes.
- This recipe can also be made with chicken thighs; adjust the cooking time accordingly.
