- 12 slices baguette
- 1 (10 ounce) container garlic hummus (use as needed)
- 2-3 tablespoons chopped fresh Italian parsley (or to taste)
- Balsamic glaze (to taste)
- Salt & pepper (to taste)
Instructions
- Prepare Ingredients: Slice the baguette into 12 even pieces and chop the fresh Italian parsley. Gather garlic hummus, balsamic glaze, salt, and pepper for assembly.
- Assemble Crostini: Spread a generous amount of garlic hummus on each baguette slice. Sprinkle a fairly generous amount of chopped parsley over the hummus, more than just for a garnish. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Add Finishing Touch: Drizzle each crostini with balsamic glaze to add a tangy sweetness. Serve immediately to keep the bread crisp and toppings fresh.
Notes
- The recipe is flexible: you can easily scale up or down the number of crostinis based on your needs.
- Use fresh, high-quality garlic hummus for the best flavor.
- For added texture, lightly toast the baguette slices before spreading the hummus, though it’s optional.
- Balsamic glaze can be found in most grocery stores or easily made by reducing balsamic vinegar with a bit of sugar.
- Serve immediately to prevent the bread from becoming soggy.
