Sauce and Toppings:
- 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
- 1 tablespoon gochujang (Korean chili paste)
- 1 teaspoon toasted sesame seeds
- 4 hamburger buns
- 1/2 cup shredded carrots
- 1/2 cup thinly sliced cucumber
- 2 tablespoons green onions, sliced
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise (optional)
Instructions
- Sauté Aromatics: Heat sesame oil in a large skillet. Sauté garlic, ginger, and onion until fragrant.
- Cook Beef: Add ground beef, cook until browned. Drain excess grease.
- Make Sauce: Stir in soy sauce, brown sugar, rice vinegar, and gochujang. Simmer until thickened.
- Assemble: Toast buns, spoon beef mixture onto bottom buns. Top with veggies, mayo, and sesame seeds. Cover with top buns.
