For the crust:

- 1 cup heavy cream

Instructions
- Prepare the crust: In a medium bowl, combine the chocolate cookie crumbs and melted butter. Mix until the crumbs are evenly coated. Press the mixture firmly into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan or pie dish to form the crust. Set aside.
- Melt the chocolate and beat cream cheese: In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the semi-sweet chocolate chips in 30-second intervals, stirring between each until smooth. Allow to cool slightly. In a large bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until creamy and smooth. Add the powdered sugar and vanilla extract, then beat until well combined.
- Combine chocolate and cream cheese mixtures: Fold the melted chocolate into the cream cheese mixture until fully incorporated. In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form. Gently fold the whipped cream into the chocolate mixture until smooth and light.
- Assemble and chill: Spread the chocolate cream layer evenly over the prepared crust. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or until the chocolate layer is set.
