  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp baking powder

For the Filling:

  • 1 can (21 oz) peach pie filling
  • 1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
  • 1/3 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven: Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. Prepare the Crust: Cream butter and sugar, add eggs and vanilla. Combine dry ingredients and mix into a soft dough. Press two-thirds of the dough into the baking dish.
  3. Make the Filling: Beat cream cheese, sugar, egg, and vanilla until smooth. Spread over crust. Top with peach pie filling. Drop remaining dough over the filling.
  4. Bake: Bake for 35–40 minutes until golden. Cool before cutting into bars.

Notes

  • You can substitute homemade peach filling if preferred.
