- 2 cups chicken broth

Instructions
- Boil the noodles: Heat a large pot of water on the stove until boiling. Add the ramen noodles and cook according to package instructions, usually 3-4 minutes.
- Drain noodles: Drain the cooked noodles and set aside.
- Heat oils: In a large skillet or wok, heat vegetable oil over medium heat. Add sesame oil and swirl to combine.
- Sauté garlic: Add minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Sauté ginger: Add minced ginger and sauté for another 30 seconds.
- Cook gochujang: Stir in gochujang and cook for 1-2 minutes to meld flavors.
- Add sauce ingredients: Add soy sauce, rice vinegar, brown sugar, and chili flakes, stirring until sugar dissolves and sauce is smooth.
- Add liquids: Slowly pour in chicken broth while stirring continuously, then add water and continue stirring.
- Simmer sauce: Bring the mixture to a simmer, cook for 3-4 minutes to blend flavors.
- Combine noodles and sauce: Add cooked ramen noodles to the skillet, tossing to coat fully with sauce.
- Cook noodles with sauce: Let noodles cook an additional 2-3 minutes to absorb the sauce.
- Season: Taste and adjust seasoning with black pepper as desired.
- Prepare toppings: If using, peel and halve the boiled egg.
- Serve: Plate the noodles in bowls, topping each with boiled egg halves (if using), chopped green onions, and sesame seeds.
