Instructions
- Prepare the fruit: Wash and hull the strawberries thoroughly, then slice or halve them to release their flavor more easily in the punch.
- Add fruit to container: Place the sliced strawberries and lemon rounds into a punch bowl or large pitcher for mixing.
- Muddle the fruit: Gently press the fruit with a spoon or muddler to release their natural juices, enhancing the punch’s flavor without breaking down the fruit completely.
- Combine with lemonade: Pour in the strawberry lemonade and stir gently to mix the flavors together with the muddled fruit.
- Add soda before serving: Just before serving, add the chilled lemon-lime soda to maintain its fizzy carbonation and freshness in the punch.
- Add ice and optional ingredients: Toss in the ice cubes along with optional sprigs of fresh mint or a splash of white grape juice or ginger ale to add complexity and aroma.
