Description

Indulge in the refreshing sweetness of homemade Strawberry Sorbet. This vegan dessert is easy to make and perfect for cooling down on a hot day.


Ingredients

4 cups fresh strawberries, hulled and halved

  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup water
  • pinch of salt


Instructions

  1. Blend the Ingredients: Add strawberries, sugar, lemon juice, water, and salt to a blender. Blend until smooth.
  2. Strain the Mixture: Pour the mixture through a sieve to remove seeds. Chill in the fridge for 1 hour.
  3. Churn the Sorbet: Transfer to an ice cream maker and churn for 20–25 minutes.
  4. Freeze and Serve: Freeze in a container for 2–3 hours before serving.

Notes

  • If you lack an ice cream maker, freeze the mixture in a pan and stir every 30 minutes until scoopable.
  • Thaw frozen strawberries before blending.
