Description

Indulge in the refreshing sweetness of homemade peach sorbet without the need for an ice cream maker. This easy, no-churn recipe is perfect for a hot summer day or any time you crave a fruity frozen treat.

Ingredients

Scale

Ripe Peaches:

  • 4 cups ripe peaches, peeled, pitted, and sliced

Granulated Sugar:

  • ½ cup granulated sugar

Lemon Juice:

  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice

Water:

  • ¼ cup water

Salt:

  • pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Freeze Peaches: Place sliced peaches on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and freeze for at least 4 hours until solid.
  2. Blend Ingredients: Transfer frozen peaches to a blender or food processor. Add sugar, lemon juice, water, and salt. Blend until smooth, scraping down the sides as needed. Add more water if needed.
  3. Freeze Sorbet: Transfer mixture to a freezer-safe container. Freeze for 2–3 hours until firm. Let sit at room temperature for 5–10 minutes before serving.

Notes

  • You can substitute granulated sugar with honey or maple syrup.
  • For a softer texture, add 1 tablespoon of vodka.
  • Both white and yellow peaches work well for this recipe.
