- 8 ounces imitation crab meat, flaked or sliced
- 8 ounces raw shrimp, peeled and deveined
Vegetables & Seasoning
- ½ cup celery, finely diced
- 3 tablespoons red onion, minced
- ½ teaspoon Old Bay seasoning
- 1 lemon, quartered
- 2 teaspoons fresh lemon juice
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
Dressing
- ½ cup mayonnaise
- 1½ tablespoons fresh dill, chopped (plus extra for garnish)
Instructions
- Cook the shrimp: Boil or steam the peeled and deveined shrimp until fully cooked, about 2-3 minutes until pink and opaque. Drain and allow to cool.
- Combine ingredients: In a large bowl, mix the flaked imitation crab meat, cooled shrimp, diced celery, minced red onion, Old Bay seasoning, fresh lemon juice, and mayonnaise.
- Season and garnish: Add salt and black pepper to taste. Gently fold in the chopped fresh dill. Garnish with additional dill and lemon wedges. Chill the salad before serving for best flavor.
