For the Pie:
- 1 9-inch chocolate cookie pie crust
- 1 1/2 cups creamy peanut butter
- 8 oz cream cheese (softened)
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 8 oz whipped topping (thawed)
- 1 cup chopped mini peanut butter cups (plus extra for topping)
- 1/4 cup hot fudge sauce (plus extra for drizzling)
- 1/4 cup chopped peanuts (optional for garnish)
Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, beat together the peanut butter and softened cream cheese until smooth.
- Gently fold in the whipped topping until the mixture is light and fluffy.
- Spread half of the mixture into the prepared pie crust.
- Add the remaining peanut butter mixture and smooth the top.
- Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or until set.
Add the powdered sugar and continue mixing until fully incorporated.
Stir in the chopped mini peanut butter cups.
Drizzle with half the hot fudge sauce.
Drizzle with more hot fudge and top with additional chopped peanut butter cups and chopped peanuts, if using.
Serve chilled.
Notes
- For a lighter version, use light cream cheese and low-fat whipped topping.
- You can also use a graham cracker crust instead of a chocolate one.
